The official game of the Formula One World Championship

F1® 23 is a premium racing simulator and the official 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship video game. The game features fully licensed teams and drivers from both the Formula One and Two championships, recreating all of the thrills from the real-life F1 '23 calendar. Drivers include Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Sergio Pérez, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, and Fernando Alonso.

F1® 23 is the sequel to F1® 22 and serves as a straightforward simulation. Races include the Monaco Grand Prix at Monte Carlo and the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. This is unlike F1 Manager 2022, which is about sports management.

Recreating the 2023 season

As players might expect from a big-budget racing sim, F1® 23 includes single and multiplayer game modes. Features from previous F1 games return, including manual pit stops and adaptive AI for opponents.

Time trials, a career mode, and exhibition races are all available, and players have the opportunity to create their own racer. Alternatively, players can opt to race as one of the real drivers active in the 2023 Formula One season.

Improved presentation

In terms of comparisons with F1® 22, the game also features changes to the season format. These are in line with the real sport. For example, the number of sprint events increased in real life for the 2023 season, and this change is reflected in the game.

So, how many races are in F1 2023? The season includes all 24 races from the real Formula One season. These include many fan favorites, like the São Paulo Grand Prix at Interlagos and even the new Las Vegas Grand Prix at the Las Vegas Street Circuit.

All-new circuit additions

F1® 23 brings fresh excitement to the racing world by introducing new circuits to the game, such as the highly anticipated Las Vegas Grand Prix and the returning Qatar Grand Prix. Players will have the opportunity to experience these thrilling tracks for the first time, bringing more diversity to the gameplay and keeping the racing experience fresh and engaging.

Enhanced game covers and special editions

EA Sports has revealed stunning new covers for F1® 23, featuring seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris, and Charles Leclerc. Max Verstappen is set to grace the cover of the Digital Champions Edition, which offers players three days of early access to the game and additional benefits like 18,000 PitCoin.

A more immersive gaming experience

The highly popular story mode, Braking Point, returns with Aiden Jackson and the Konnersport Racing Team, as well as antagonist Devon Butler and a roster of new characters. This mode provides a deeper dive into the world of Formula One, with unexpected twists and turns that will keep players engaged throughout their gaming experience.

Refined handling and realism

F1® 23 showcases a refined handling model and new physics, delivering a more authentic racing experience. The addition of red flags and 35% race distances adds an extra layer of strategy and unpredictability to each race, making every contest feel more like the real deal.

Available on multiple platforms

The game is available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. With F1® 23 available across various platforms, players can choose their preferred gaming system and immerse themselves in the high-octane world of Formula One racing.

New Champions Edition version

Fans of F1® 23 can check out the Champions Edition, as well. Aside from the main game offerings, it also expands the experience a bit by having extra stuff within. It features a new chapter, Braking Point, that adds to the storyline and brings more high-speed action. Furthermore, it features new Las Vegas and Qatar race routes. You can also curate the racing team of your dreams on the My Team Career Mode, enjoy multiplayer rivalry on the Racenet Leagues, and more.

Also available on EA Play

F1® 23 is also available to play as part of the EA Play games bundle, along with other exclusives and newer releases. Besides that, a subscription also grants the user 5,000 EXP each month.

Turbo-charged racing action

F1® 23 builds on previous entries in the series and provides compelling and realistic simulation gameplay. It allows players to enjoy all the F1 ’23 schedule tracks.
